About the Head of Cash Management Sales role:

The Head of Cash Management Sales is responsible for leading the cash management sales team within the transaction banking division. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance cash management services, drive revenue growth, and strengthen client relationships. The individual will work closely with various stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, operations, product management, and regional sales teams, to deliver innovative cash management solutions tailored to client needs. This position will report directly into Transaction Banking Head.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the cash management sales team, setting clear objectives and performance metrics.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for cash management sales that aligns with the overall goals of the Wholesale Banking & Transaction banking division.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth in the cash management segment.
  • Analyze competitor offerings and market conditions to inform strategy and product development.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their cash management needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major clients and prospects, ensuring exceptional service and support.
  • Collaborate with product management to identify market trends and client needs, contributing to the development of innovative cash management products and services.
  • Ensure that the cash management offerings are competitive, maintain profitability margin and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement best practices in sales processes and client management to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Formulate key account planning with Relationship managers to identify opportunities.
  • Mentor and train sales team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Encourage professional development and support team members in achieving their career goals.

To succeed in this Head of Cash Management Sales role, it is important to have working knowledge of Transaction Banking.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cash management sales, transaction banking, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of cash management products, services, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmen
