About the AVP, Performance Marketing Specialist Role:

Reporting to the Marketing Lead, you will develop and implement data-driven media buy strategy across various channels, including Google ads, Meta ads, TikTok Ads, Radio Ads and etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop digital performance marketing strategy across digital business team for paid channels
  • Leverage on various data sources and combine with external data to set digital media strategies
  • Create a digital marketing framework that is to be used by the marketing team – serving as a guide on ways of performance marketing.
  • Ensure that digital media buys are according to the budget provided.
  • Define digital media tools and services to ensure strong planning and buying capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the Analytics team to ensure all Google Analytics data can be attributed to the digital ads platform to make data-driven decisions and better measure the result of our marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with product team/tech team to onboard MMP and help justify the user attribution journey
  • Collaborate with Group Marketing to ensure group level consolidation needs are meet, which helps marketing team achieve the necessary impact
  • Ensure the media agency executes the plan as agreed.
  • Manage budget allocation and payment
  • Work with agency to monitor campaign performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Educate the agency about the product to ensure they understand how to achieve the campaign KPIs
  • Team member on teamwork and collaboration metrics
  • Team member satisfaction on work such as growth plan and improvement area

To succeed in this AVP, Performance Marketing Specialist role, it is important to have working knowledge of the consumer banking industry.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in digital performance marketing or relevant/related roles, with at least 2 -3 years in a leadership role.
  • Hands-on experience in executing at least one of the performance marketing channels (Google Adwords, Facebook, 3rd Party Networks) and a solid understanding of underlying tech building blocks (product feed, automation and more) is critical
  • Familiar with mobile app user acquisition and re targeting; have solid knowledge about cross-channel tracking, attribution logic and MMPs
  • Engage and effectively communicate with senior executive stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising technologies and marketing attribution models.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to big groups of audiences on a regular basis
  • Excellent organisational, project management and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyse reports and communicate findings succinctly to cross-functional business partners.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with start-up and/or tech-driven environments desired.
  • Understanding and exposure across social media channels.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising social media campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate users to adopt the service
  • A blend of strategic thinking capabilities with “Dream big, start small” mindset
  • Empathy for users to discover and resolve their pain points.
  • An analytical and a data driven approach to problem solving.
  • Passion for building delightful product experience.
