A new role has become available for Head, Cash Management Products based in their head office in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting to the Head of Transaction Banking, this role is with a regional bank that is strong in cash management products and services.
About the Head, Cash Management Products Role: This role is responsible for overseeing the development, management, and strategic direction of the bank which includes payments, collection, deposit, liquidity management and the know-how of corporate internet banking.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy: Developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy for different customer segment (SME and wholesale market) aligned with the organisation's goals and market trends
Market Research: Conducting market research in the payment, collection and liquidity management space to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, regulatory framework and emerging opportunities
Financial Performance: Monitoring product performance, profitability and revenue growth while optimising cost-efficiency. Managing the budget for product development for both vendor and in-house squad and ongoing operations
Regulatory and Risk Management: Ensuring all cash management products comply with relevant BNM and MAS regulations and risk management, including IT security measures
Product Marketing and Commercialisation: Collaborating with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies and campaigns for cash management products. Providing training and customer education to internal and external stakeholders on benefits and value propositions. Continuously exploring potential partnerships and collaboration that can enhance the product portfolio
Leading the creation and enhancement of cash management products, including payments solutions, collection solutions and liquidity management solutions
Supporting development and post production task, including UATs and PVTs
Supporting the Agile model and work closely with Squads PO
Being responsible for the timely delivery of cash management product roll-out
To succeed in this role, you must have a recognised degree preferably in accounting, finance, economics or business, coupled with at least 10 years of work experience in FI/NBFI.
Key Requirements:
Good knowledge in the areas of cash management, treasury management services and business banking
Strong presentation and communication skills, influencing and problem-solving skills
Positive and growth mindset, willing to learn, able to work independently and initiative-driven
Results-oriented and able to work as a team
Good planning and organisational skills
Fluent in both spoken and written English
Must be willing to travel
