About the Head Regional Partnership (BaaS) Role:
The Head Regional Partnership (BaaS) is expected to identify, acquire and manage partners for the company's BaaS business, and maintain partner relationships at executive levels and cross-functional hierarchies across the organisation. It is expected for the incumbent to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships that drive customer acquisition, revenue generation, and enhance the company's Islamic brand presence in the market. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, business acumen, negotiation skills, and relationship-building expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify business and product opportunities via data-driven analysis to expand BaaS business
• Work across teams in the company's group for relevant outcomes for BaaS partners
• Manage day-to-day contact and connections with strategic partners
• Develop strategic business plans for partners and help identify creative initiatives, implement processes for managing, engaging, and expanding partnerships
• Manage projects associated with deal activations; track contractual obligations, drive local amendments and execution of partnerships

To succeed in this Head Regional Partnership (BaaS) role, it is important to have working knowledge of the consumer banking industry.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related fields
• MBA or relevant advanced degree/certification is a plus
• Minimum of 10 years experience in partnership management, business development, or a related role in the financial services industry
• Strong understanding of BaaS B2B2C business models, financial products, and services
• Excellent negotiation and deal-making skills, with a track record of successful partnerships and revenue generation
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to analyse partnership economics and financial impact
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the financial services industry
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experienced in Agile and Customer Experience (CX) methodologies and practices
