A successful and growing local bank is seeking a high-calibre Senior Vice President, Client Coverage. In this job, you will join their business in their Kuala Lumpur office.

About the Senior Vice President, Client Coverage Role:
Reporting to the Group Chief Corporate & Transaction Banking Officer, you are responsible for expanding and growing the group's corporate banking portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expand corporate, commercial and client coverage businesses to expand GCB’s regional coverage aimed at penetrating and acquiring new customers, deepening relationship and share of wallet and cross selling of products to achieve profitability target on PBT and RAROC
• Coordinate and drive GCB’s various business units to develop and implement business development plans in achieving division objectives and thereon, group corporate banking objectives at large
• Deliver holistic solutions and excellent service to customers

To succeed in this Senior Vice President, Client Coverage role, you must have at least 10 years of experience in financial services at an established financial institution with exposure to corporate/investment/transaction banking.

Key Requirements:

• Degree/MBA/professional qualifications in Business, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or other related disciplines
• Understands the group's corporate banking strategic objectives, business model and local commercial market landscape
• Strong client-facing and leadership skills with the capability to deliver high-calibre client service functions and solutions driven to support the group’s regional businesses
• Able to work independent as well as in a team
