A Head of Transaction Banking job has become available at a well-known financial institution to join their office in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Head of Transaction Banking Role:
In this leadership role, you will be overseeing the transaction banking business of the bank across all corporate, commercial, and retail banking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the bank’s TB platform of products and services for all cash and payment, trade finance and supply chain activities
• Work with cross business units in order to generate and grow the TB’s fee income
• Formulate and implement strategic marketing initiatives to create awareness for the bank’s TB services
• Lead the sales team to deliver revenue growth
• Develop and enhance digital platform for the TB business
• Deploy sustainable business model for the TB business
• Maintain the quality of portfolio and review level of funded asset and react quickly and decide if commercial actions need to be adjusted
• Ensure implementation of compliance framework, review and update policies and procedures to comply with legal and regulatory requirements

To succeed in this role, one must have extensive experience in both cash and trade, and knowledge in developing internet banking platform.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in economics or a finance-related discipline preferred or relevant banking/financial services work experience
• Proven track record in growing the bank’s businesses
• Experience in developing internet banking platform is an advantage
• Regional working experience is an advantage
• Been in a leadership position for at least five years
