Business Management Analyst

An exciting Business Management Analyst job has just become available at one of the most respected global banking firms based in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting directly to the Head of Department, this is a role for an analyst who is a leader in their field.

About the Business Management Analyst Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for building, reviewing, upgrading, and developing data analysis and visualisations to be used by the consulting team. You will also be responsible for collating and tracking of analysis including analysis of competitors, operational effectiveness and capacity utilisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be involved in data gathering and performing analytics
• Support the Head of Department to maintain an ongoing interface with various organisational and regional groups/countries in areas such as decision analysis, technical needs, planning and execution
• Collate and track analysis including analysis of competitors, operational effectiveness and capacity utilisation
• Research, prioritise, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed and determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response
• Provide a bridge for smooth communication between internal departments
• Carry out special projects as allocated where necessary

To succeed in this Business Management Analyst job, you will need to be a highly resourceful team player with the ability to also be work effectively independently and have good business acumen.

Key Requirements:

• Experienced in SQL/Power BI
• Strong analytics skills in analysing financial figures
• Ability to develop overall business strategy and plans
• Ability to effectively present and deliver report/presentation to Senior Management
• Successful, solid experience in a similar role in a consensus based partnership culture
• Resourceful, able to multitask and work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
• Good communication, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills to facilitate team work
• Open to take on any other functions assigned
