An attractive Investment Specialist job with managerial opportunities has just become available at a prestigious banking institution based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Investment Specialist Role:
In this business critical role, you will be assisting RMs in understanding clients better, meeting clients together with RMs when required, and making suitable recommendations and helping clients understand the value and risks of solutions available to them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meeting clients face to face or through software like zoom or teams to engage customers together with Relationship Managers to find out deeply or KYC the customers in order to understand and thus able to cater to the needs of the customers
• Provision investment advice – after knowing in-depth knowledge of the customers one is able to process and to come out with sound advice based on knowledge of what the bank has and marry with the needs of the customers
• Analyse wealth products that are available in the bank and the market and craft it to the customer
• Manage ongoing servicing of high-net-worth clients

To succeed in this investment specialist role, you must have at least five years of experience in a similar capacity.

Key Requirements:

• Federation of Investment Manager Malaysia (FIMM)
• Private Retirement Scheme (PRS)
• Investor Protection Professional Certification
• SIDC modules 6,7,9,10,12 and 19A
• CFP/CFA candidates or charter holders is an advantage
