An exciting Business Banking Team Leader job in Penang has become available for a Business Banking Team Leader at one of the largest local banking outfits in Malaysia.
About the Business Banking Team Leader, Penang Role:
As the Business Banking Team Leader, you will be responsible for contributing to the Northern Region in its business strategies and goals to achieve profitability for the business centre to be in line with the bank's business banking goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business development in loans and deposit growth among the business banking segment clients
- Planning and generating revenue via quality loan sourcing, deposits sourcing, driving high productivity, instilling a cross-selling culture, contract financing and bridging loan
- Ensuring profitability of business centre via sourcing of high loans, focusing on fee-based income products and via cost control
- Managing asset quality and minimising impairment via consistent monitoring of loans, minimising newly impaired loans and reduction of high risk assets
- Cultivating and strengthening customer relationships via customer engagement and visitation, delivery and speed by shorter turnaround time
- Ensuring operational efficiency and compliance by close observation of compliance, audit, monitoring of PDS and compliance of AMLA, KYC, and the bank's policies
- As a team leader, ensure staff are provided with proper coaching and training and structured talent development programme
To succeed in this Business Banking Team Leader, Penang role you will have at least six years of experience in SME/business banking segment dealing with commercial banking loans.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, Professional Accounting certification or degree in Marketing, Economics or Banking
- Certification in CCP/CSA is highly recommended
- Strong credit competency
- Strong leadership skills
