A well-established and dynamic foreign bank is looking for a high-calibre individual for a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager job to drive the business of the bank based in the Kuala Lumpur office. Ideal candidate needs to be sales-driven, demonstrate a critical sense of business awareness, and able to deliver customer service at the highest level.

About the Commercial Banking Relationship Manager Role:
The Commercial Banking Relationship Manager manages the bank’s SME Banking clients both locally and internationally with the objective of increasing wallet share as well as acquire new accounts to broaden client base in the specified target market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of middle market as well as commercial clients including evaluating their loan applications, conducting credit reviews, marketing and cross-selling the Bank's other products
• Monitor overall facility utilisation and profitability of assigned portfolio
• Build rapport and develop meaningful networking in the customer's organisation, for priority in utilisation of the bank's facilities
• Identify customer needs and capture new financing and/or cross selling opportunities, negotiate for best margins to optimise account profitability

To succeed in this Commercial Banking Relationship Manager role, you will need at least three years of in-depth SME banking experience.

Key Requirements:

• Independent, self-motivated, resourceful, and have excellent interpersonal skills
• Recognised degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business
• Good analytical skills in financial accounts and well-versed in cash flow analysis
• Good planning and organising skills
• Result-oriented and able to work as a team
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
