Business Banking Relationship Manager

An exciting Business Banking Relationship Manager job has just become available at a fast-growing international financial institution to be based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Business Banking Relationship Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for facilitating loans growth and effective capital management at team level in order to achieve the overall business banking strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solicit businesses to enhance the bank’s loan assets with optimal return to the bank
• Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers to promote active utilisation rates and ensure optimal returns for the bank
• Ensure credit portfolio of the department is of good and sound credit quality to minimise non-performing loans
• Cross sell the bank’s various products and services to existing and potential customers including but not limited to deposit products/credit facilities
• Ensure annual review of all the accounts are conducted at least one month ahead of its scheduled review date and to ensure quality credit write-up at all time. Credit write-up shall follow approved formats for all credit applications, including accuracy of CRR and GUS
• Assist the Head of Business Banking and/or deputy in any other works assigned and other assignments delegated by the management
• Abide by the requirements of the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act 2001 and adhere to it in the day-to-day job functions

To succeed in this Business Banking Relationship Manager role, you must have a minimum of seven years of client relationship experience in corporate/commercial/investment banking environment.

• Relationship-oriented with an aptitude for closing deals
• Disciplined approach to account planning and portfolio performance
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal stakeholders
• Individuals holding credit certification are encouraged to apply
