Social Media Executive

An exciting Social Media Executive job has just become available at one of the most respected financial services firms based in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting to the Group Head of Marketing, this is a role for a progressive marketer who is keen to take their career to the next step.

About the Social Media Executive Role:
Reporting to the Social Media & Content Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for managing all social media platforms, campaigns, and services to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction. You will also research and analyse social media trends to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing content ideas and able to work alongside with agency to curate meaningful content
• Developing influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns
• Identifying and building relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders
• Researching relevant industry experts, competitors, target audience and users
• Brainstorming new, creative approaches to influencer marketing campaigns
• Keeping abreast of emerging trends, technologies and influencers
• Working closely with Digital Marketing specialist to create media assets that will drive results for KPI

To succeed in the Social Media Executive job, you will need to be an expert across media behaviours and how the target audience interacts with social touchpoints (i.e. Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok) and any cross-channel delivery. In addition to this, you should be able to meet deadlines and possess excellent communication skills and be able to express company’s views creatively.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience in influencer marketing, social content planning
• Have experience in fast moving industry (telecommunications, e-commerce/marketplace and fintech) is a plus
• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Solid understanding of creative positioning, key art/video execution, advertising and entertainment marketing
• Good communication skills with pleasant personality and a people person
• Good connection with celebrities and/or influencers is a plus
