VP, Transaction Banking Product Management

A new VP, Transaction Banking Product Management job has become available at one of the global banks based in Kuala Lumpur. This role will require experience and knowledge in trade finance and cash management product management.

About the VP, Transaction Banking Product Management Role:
This role focuses on product commercialisation and managing the deployment of cash management and trade products for both conventional trade products as well as supply chain management in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage product budget process for product development for both cash management and trade and supply chain
• Identify and prepare of business requirements
• Review functional specifications
• Engage with external industry stakeholders such as regulators, clearing houses, industry associations to track regulatory and market developments
• Product commercialisation with the objective to drive revenues through product utilisation and product enhancements
• Track and drive product utilisation through engagement with sales teams
• Track and report on KPIs identified as part of the commercialisation plan
• Participate in client deals and RFPs to provide product related inputs
• Provide support to sales, implementation and client service teams on product related aspects
• Engage with regional and global teams on products

In order to succeed in this role, strong knowledge of transaction banking focusing on cash management, trade finance and supply chain is necessary.

Key Requirements:

• Knowledge in local regulatory and market environment, fintech space
• Experience in commercialisation of transaction banking products
• Travel for business will be required
• Degree holder
• More than 8 - 10 years of relevant work experience in a transaction banking organisation
• Excellent project management and product management skills
