Content Specialist

A rapidly expanding digital marketing team at one of the most respected financial services firms in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a talented Content Specialist. In this job, you will own the content life cycle management from ideation, creation and editing through to approvals and develop a content strategy.

About the Content Specialist Role:
Reporting to the Group Head of Strategic Digital, you will write content and research consumer trends, develop content strategies, and create content for UI/UX. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that content is engaging and consistent across all media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing clear, persuasive copy that is on-brand
• Developing content for the product journey (UI writing) with UX thinking
• Preparing additional content to achieve product’s goals
• Occasionally being involved in marketing campaigns
• Amending, revising content in response to feedback from internally
• Presenting ideas and concepts to other teams or the management team when necessary
• Proofreading materials and ensuring they meet guidelines

To succeed in this role, you do not need extensive technical knowledge, but you should know your way around software and design programmes. It will involve writing specifically for the user interface, which can be the screens of your computers, tablets and mobile phones.

Key Requirements:

• Three to five years of experience as a copywriter, content specialist or UI writer
• Bachelor’s degree in any related field
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Able to work under pressure and deliver within given timelines
• Fluent and excellent in both verbal and written English
• Fluency in Bahasa and other languages is a plus
• Customer-oriented with an understanding of the evolving digital landscape and technologies
