About the Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist Role:
In this business critical role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the digital bank operates in full compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish regulatory compliance framework and ensure strong Senior Management and Board of Directors accountability and oversight
• Develop strong compliance culture and structure to provide reasonable assurance on compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and practices
• Collaborate with all business and risk management units to provide oversight and guidance over assessment of regulatory issues and new product initiatives
• Monitor regulatory changes and concerns to identify new and emerging compliance risk areas
• Maintain strong relationship with banking regulators and other regulatory authorities
• Support in all internal and external audit/information requests

To succeed in this Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist role, you will be responsible for interpreting and implementing regulations, conducting compliance assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain a culture of regulatory excellence.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 – 12 years of relevant work experience in a regulated financial institution
• Prior experience including direct interaction with regulatory authorities and/or prior working experience in regulatory authorities is preferred
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations and familiarity with local regulatory expectations
• Ability to quickly understand complex issues and provide well thought-through solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing various stakeholders
