About the Senior Manager, Compliance Monitoring Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for managing an effective compliance monitoring programme for the company covering both Financial Crime Compliance and Regulatory Compliance regime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage (strategising, developing, implementing, controlling, reporting) an effective compliance monitoring system for the company
• Provide support and advisory to the business units as required
• Educate and develop RCRs in compliance monitoring and compliance related matters
• Plan and drive compliance independent validation on key controls
• Drive and manage compliance monitoring via various compliance tools such as compliance metrics and control testing
• Perform reviews and assessments on the monitoring results
• Drive compliance self-attestation at appropriate areas
• Conduct periodic self-assessments
• Develop and review related administration/process guidelines

To succeed in this Senior Manager, Compliance Monitoring job, you will need to drive and provide continuous improvement in the First Line of Defence Model (RCRs) and empower them by giving appropriate guidance, education and training,

Key Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of established regulatory compliance frameworks and regulations (i.e., AML/CFT, BNM guidelines)
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting/Economics/Business/Law or any relevant field and certification in regulatory compliance is preferred
• 10 years in risk management/compliance/auditing financial and insurance institution is preferred
