About the Manager, Regulatory Compliance Role:
In this business critical role, you will provide business-oriented compliance advice to the organisation to enable the business to make informed commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, conduct reviews and monitor levels of compliance risk associated with the activities of the business/functions
• Assist to follow up and monitor compliance issues highlighted by regulators, internal audit, group and/or regional compliance for its resolution and reporting to senior management
• Assist in performing Group Compliance Integrated Risk and Control System (IRCS) and Compliance Assurance of Risk and Effectiveness (CARE) Assessment and System of Governance (SOG) review based on requirements of Group Compliance, which includes preparing, documenting and presenting the IRCS, CARE and SOG results to management and boards/board committees
• Assist Heads of Compliance in the preparation and documentation of Related Party Transaction (RPT) papers of the company for presentation and reporting to management
• Any other work that may be assigned by the Heads of Compliance

To succeed in this Manager, Regulatory Compliance role, you will need to conduct compliance reviews on areas described in the annual compliance plan.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in finance/commerce/economics/banking from a recognised university or tertiary institution
• Seven years of relevant work experience in the compliance department
• Good knowledge and solid experience in areas of conduct of business, corporate governance, regulatory risk and regulatory changes
• Holds relevant tertiary education degrees/papers. Possession of related professional qualifications is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage regulators and also develop partnerships throughout the organisation
• Experienced leader in guiding internal teams, business and project stakeholders through regulatory change and management of compliance risks
• Sound judgement, results-oriented and forward-looking individual with the ability to make good decisions and recommendations
• A person with a high integrity, exemplary ethical behaviour and having commitment to transparency
