What you'll do:

As a Tax Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing local tax charges and controlling both direct and indirect tax accounting. Your expertise will be instrumental in establishing procedures, controls, and documentation that ensure full compliance with all relevant tax regulations. You will prepare comprehensive tax returns, handle complex audits, and respond promptly to queries from authorities. Your innovative approach to developing effective tax planning strategies will contribute significantly to reducing the hub's overall effective tax rate.

  • Manage local tax charge and control tax accounting for direct and indirect taxes
  • Establish procedures, controls, and documentations to ensure tax compliance
  • Ensure timely compliance with all tax regulations
  • Prepare tax returns and handle tax audits and queries from authorities
  • Develop tax planning ideas to reduce effective tax rates for the hub
  • Build and maintain partnerships with internal cross-functional teams, local advisors, and authorities

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Tax Assistant Manager position brings a wealth of diverse financial experience along with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Your proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and SAP will be essential for this role. You are known for your excellent oral and written communication abilities which enable you to handle complex tasks such as preparing comprehensive tax returns, dealing with audits, and responding promptly to queries from authorities.

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Have a minimum of 4-7 years of diverse financial experience
  • Exhibit strong skills in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Proficient in SAP
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication abilities
