What you'll do:
As a Senior Manager of Taxation, your role will be integral to the implementation of our client's tax strategy. You will be responsible for directing various tax-related activities to ensure that the organisation meets its obligations and objectives. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in evaluating current or proposed activities and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Your expertise will be relied upon as you advise senior management on complex tax matters. A significant part of your role will involve selecting and managing relationships with external consultants and advisors. Furthermore, your leadership skills will shine as you lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of dedicated tax professionals.
- Implement the organisation's tax strategy to optimise the amount of tax the company pays.
- Direct a variety of tax-related activities in accordance with the overall tax strategy.
- Evaluate the organisation's current or proposed activities, policies, business practices, and transactions.
- Ensure that all tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time.
- Advise senior management on tax matters.
- Select, and manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and advisors.
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of tax professionals.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Manager of Taxation position brings a wealth of experience in taxation along with strong analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Additional professional qualifications e.g. CTIM, ACCA, MIA will be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in taxation.
- Experience working in accounting or tax firms.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with or knowledge of SAP.
