What you'll do:

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and reliable financial statements that reflect the organisation's performance. • Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts, analysing variances, and resolving discrepancies to uphold the integrity of financial records.
• Assist in implementing new accounting standards or regulatory changes by updating processes and documentation as required.
• Actively participate in audits by providing requested information, preparing schedules, and addressing auditor inquiries promptly.
• Stay updated on local statutory requirements and international financial reporting standards to ensure compliance across all reporting activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline reporting workflows and enhance the quality of financial information provided to stakeholders.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as needed by management to aid decision-making within the organisation.
• Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions and maintain organised records for future reference or audits.
