What you'll do:

As a Senior FP&A Analyst in Kuala Lumpur, you will partner with local and regional stakeholders to deliver financial insights that drive strategic decisions. Your responsibilities include managing financial reviews, reforecasting cycles, and planning processes while supporting operational excellence through process improvements. You’ll also assist with budget preparation and gain exposure to regional and global projects, enhancing your professional growth. Success requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.

  • Lead monthly financial reviews, reforecasting, and planning processes, including long-range plans, quarterly forecasts, and annual operating plans.
  • Ensure timely month-end closing activities with accurate accruals, provisions for revenue reduction, inventory adjustments, and expense reflections in the P&L.
  • Monitor country financial performance by understanding business dynamics, tracking KPIs, and providing actionable insights to improve outcomes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to communicate financial outlooks, risks, and opportunities between country and cluster using business knowledge.
  • Deliver detailed financial analysis for regular reporting and ad hoc requests, including profitability assessments, pricing strategies, margin improvements, and cost evaluations.
  • Drive process standardisation and simplification across the cluster through regular review of current practices.
  • Support cluster finance teams in preparing budgets and planning cycle deliverables.
  • Participate in or lead cluster, regional, or global projects as needed.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior FP&A Analyst role has at least five years of experience in accounting or finance, supported by a bachelor’s degree or CPA certification. You excel in FP&A functions, combining strong analytical skills with the ability to connect business insights to financial performance. With excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, you effectively convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders. Detail-oriented and proactive, you ensure accuracy in reporting while driving process improvements and operational excellence. Your collaborative mindset, ownership of tasks, and commitment to delivering results make you a valuable partner in achieving strategic goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in financial planning & analysis or related fields is essential.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity while maintaining attention to detail ensures accurate financial data submissions.
  • A forward-thinking mindset and leadership qualities to drive change in a continuous improvement environment.

  • Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
