What You'll Do:

As a Record to Report Team Lead in Petaling Jaya, you will manage accounting operations for SEA regions. You’ll lead a team, ensure high-quality deliverables, and drive process optimisation by monitoring KPIs and sharing best practices.

Your role includes coaching your team, managing budgets, overseeing financial reporting cycles, and ensuring smooth transitions of new activities into the hub through clear stakeholder communication. Success requires technical expertise, strong organisation, and empathetic leadership to support your team’s growth and performance.

• Address areas for improvement by engaging with stakeholders and resolving issues efficiently.
• Lead project execution to ensure timely delivery with accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.
• Provide expertise and support to the team on processes, operations, performance management, and project-related responsibilities.
• Coordinate with teams to optimize resource allocation, track usage, and address any unresolved matters.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive policies and procedures in full alignment with compliance requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; equivalent professional qualifications or experience will also be considered.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in accounting roles, with significant exposure to regional or multinational environments.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on expertise in financial reporting standards across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience supervising teams, including recruitment responsibilities such as interviewing and hiring decisions.
