What you'll do:

As an Account Payable Analyst (Japanese Speaker), you will oversee Procure to Pay operations across multiple countries, including accurate invoice processing, account reconciliation, and resolving queries from internal teams and external vendors. Your Japanese language skills will be crucial in managing escalations and fostering cross-border collaboration. You will ensure compliance with group policies, support audits, and provide regular updates on progress. Additionally, you will train new team members, assist with data analysis, contribute to finance projects, and drive process improvements. • Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Resolve internal and external accounts payable queries promptly to minimise financial risks.
• Reconcile vendor statements regularly, maintaining accurate records as per group policy.
• Perform daily controls, ensuring evidence aligns with internal standards.
• Meet key performance indicators while supporting performance management initiatives.
• Address escalations swiftly, providing clear resolutions within financial guidelines.
• Stay updated on policies, controls, and procedures, revising work instructions as needed.
• Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests promptly.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting, data analysis, and finance-related projects.
• Contribute ideas to improve quality and efficiency in processes.

What you bring:

As an Account Payable Analyst (Japanese Speaker), you bring strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage Procure to Pay processes effectively. While finance or accounting experience is helpful, it’s not required, practical skills in invoice processing, reconciliation, query resolution, or data analysis are valuable. Proficiency in Japanese and English enables seamless cross-border collaboration, while your ability to prioritise, train others, and contribute to process improvements ensures success in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent qualifications or experience also considered.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel for data analysis, PowerPoint/Word for reporting) is essential.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide insights.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, including knowledge sharing and support.
• Fluency in English and Japanese (JLPT N2) is mandatory.
