What you'll do:

As a PTP Manager in Kuala Lumpur, you will lead a team to achieve excellence in procure-to-pay processes while ensuring compliance. You’ll optimise cash flow, streamline source-to-pay and travel & expense functions, and collaborate during key periods like month-end closings. By fostering collaboration and driving process improvements, you’ll enhance efficiency, compliance, and value creation across the department, balancing leadership with hands-on involvement to ensure success.

  • Lead and develop the PTP team, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
  • Ensure accurate monthly PTP closing, payment term execution, and financial record reconciliation.
  • Address stakeholder inquiries professionally, building strong relationships through effective communication.
  • Streamline processes by documenting best practices to enhance efficiency and harmonisation.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams during month-end and year-end closings for seamless financial reporting.
  • Support finance operations by preparing reports, processing transactions when needed, and performing ad hoc duties.

To excel as a PTP Manager, you bring extensive experience managing complex processes and leading teams to deliver exceptional results. You have hands-on expertise in overseeing operations, driving impactful improvement projects, and ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Proficient in key software tools, you combine technical skills with strong communication abilities to build effective relationships across all levels. Your attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to perform under pressure ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes.   • Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience managing accounts payable teams in large organisations.
  • Proven track record in project management and driving process improvements within finance functions.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JDE)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, adept at building trust-based relationships.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial procedures, GAAP (local/global), and SOX compliance.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to adapt and make informed decisions in dynamic environments.
  • Effective leadership skills, including coaching, feedback, and collaboration with HR on employee matters.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify and escalate issues for timely resolution.
