What you'll do:
As an Order to Cash Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, you will oversee the entire order-to-cash process within a shared services environment. You will lead your team in managing customer receivables, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence through process improvements. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure seamless communication and accurate reporting while maintaining high standards in risk management. Success requires technical expertise and a strong focus on fostering positive relationships across the business.
- Oversee daily operations of the Order to Cash team, ensuring efficient and accurate task completion.
- Prioritise workloads to meet deadlines while upholding quality and compliance standards.
- Manage the accounts receivable mailbox, delegate tasks, and maintain accurate records.
- Provide backup support during team absences to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with policies through active risk management practices.
- Drive collections efforts, resolve discrepancies, and release held orders in line with policies.
- Perform account reconciliations, address queries, and support month-end close activities.
What you bring:
To excel as an Order to Cash Manager in Kuala Lumpur, you bring proven experience managing end-to-end accounts receivable cycles in shared services or large-scale environments. You combine technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement skills, balancing efficiency and sensitivity in resolving queries or disputes. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems enables effective data analysis and streamlined operations. - At least 5-6 years of experience in order-to-cash or similar finance roles within shared services or large corporate environments.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to build trust with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure with sound judgment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes, including credit control, collections, deductions, and accounting principles.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills for high-volume transactional accuracy.
- Collaborative team player who provides dependable support during absences or peak periods.
- Experience preparing financial reports and performing account reconciliations for audits.
- Ability to identify risks or irregularities in customer accounts and communicate issues effectively.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Accounting, Management, or Business Administration; certifications are a plus.
