What you'll do:

As Record to Report Team Lead, you will oversee financial operations, guide your team through closing tasks, and ensure accurate execution of RTR processes. Collaborating with local and international teams, you'll leverage technology to streamline workflows, support decision-making with data analysis, and drive process improvements that align with business goals and compliance standards.

  • Oversee RTR performance across countries, ensuring processes meet guidelines and KPIs.
  • Review journals, reconciliations, and accounting documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with Global Process Manager to improve KPIs and implement best practices.
  • Conduct process reviews with cross-functional teams to identify and drive improvements.
  • Report to GBS leadership while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships globally.
  • Work with IT to automate manual journal entries and transaction matching processes.
  • Develop expertise in financial systems to achieve RTR objectives.
  • Manage multiple finance projects from initiation to completion within time and budget.
  • Support decision-making with data-driven analysis tailored to business needs.
  • Lead process migration efforts by identifying opportunities for workflow enhancements.

What you bring:

You have a strong background in managing Record to Report operations, combining technical expertise with excellent interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration. Proficient in finance ERP systems like SAP/Oracle, you excel in complex transactional environments with high accuracy. Your experience includes process modelling and documentation to streamline workflows, clear communication, and building strong stakeholder relationships. Exposure to process migration or improvement projects demonstrates your adaptability, while a CPA qualification or equivalent degree solidifies your accounting foundation. Advanced MS Office proficiency enables efficient data analysis and informed decision-making.

  • Experience managing Record to Report functions in large or multinational organisations across regions.
  • Proficient in finance ERP systems like SAP/Oracle for efficient navigation of complex accounting environments.
  • Skilled in process modelling and documentation to map workflows for technical and non-finance teams.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in financial reporting and account reconciliation.
  • Experience in process migration or improvement initiatives is a plus.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in knowledge-sharing environments.
