What you'll do:
As an Order to Cash Senior Analyst in Petaling Jaya, you will manage transactional processing across regions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless OTC operations. Responsibilities include reconciliation, analysis of outstanding items, master data maintenance, report preparation, and adherence to closing schedules. Collaborating with local and global stakeholders, you will drive operational excellence through problem-solving and process improvement while applying professional accounting standards. - Ensure timely reconciliation and settlement of sales receivables, addressing discrepancies to mitigate financial risks.
- Analyse aged items in accounts, implement follow-ups for prompt clearance, and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain master data integrity through accurate journals, reconciliations, and accounting analysis per established procedures.
- Manage closing activities by adhering to schedules and documenting deviations with approvals.
- Uphold compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies to ensure financial accuracy.
- Conduct root cause analyses for issue management and recommend effective solutions across OTC functions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, strengthen controls, and standardise global operations.
- Develop business acumen and process knowledge while driving informed recommendations for further improvements.
What you bring:
As an Order to Cash Senior Analyst, you bring a strong background in finance or accounting with experience in shared services or similar environments. Proficient in financial systems, you excel at managing complex data, producing accurate reconciliations, and delivering insightful analyses. Your strong interpersonal skills enable effective collaboration with diverse teams to drive operational excellence. With attention to detail, analytical thinking, and adaptability, you ensure high-quality outcomes while navigating evolving priorities. - Advanced diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance roles within Shared Services or OTC functions.
- Proficient in EPR systems (SAP/Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate deliverables.
- Effective English communication; Mandarin is a plus for regional collaboration.
- Confident in collaborating with diverse stakeholders and building trust-based relationships.
- Knowledge of IFRS and ability to apply professional accounting standards effectively.
- Experience in preparing detailed accounting analyses to support business decisions.
- Exposure to migration projects or improvement initiatives is an advantage.
- Familiarity with process modeling, documentation techniques, and problem-solving skills for process enhancement.
