What you'll do:

As a Record to Report Manager, you will oversee financial reporting processes, manage RTR activities, and ensure accurate transaction capture. You’ll drive process improvements, support audits, monitor key metrics, and maintain compliance. Additionally, you’ll mentor team members and foster professional growth while delivering high-quality results and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Oversee end-to-end RTR processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial close activities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper recording and reconciliation of transactions.
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency while maintaining controls.
  • Support audits by preparing schedules, responding to queries, and ensuring complete documentation.
  • Monitor RTR KPIs and provide reports and insights to senior management.
  • Collaborate with finance functions (AP, AR, Tax) for seamless data integration.
  • Lead or participate in system upgrade or automation projects to improve reporting quality.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing complex financial reporting cycles and a strong understanding of international accounting standards. Proficient in major ERP platforms, you excel at collaboration, attention to detail, and clear communication of technical information. You are empathetic, passionate about mentoring others, and committed to driving process improvements while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Proven experience managing RTR processes in large or multinational organisations, handling complex financial close cycles.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP with consistent application across various scenarios.
  • Advanced ERP system expertise (e.g., SAP, Oracle), including implementation or upgrade experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and documentation for compliance.
  • Skilled at identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements within RTR operations.
  • Experience supporting audits through schedule preparation, prompt responses, and thorough documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Commitment to mentoring junior staff and fostering their professional development.
