What you'll do:
As a Treasury Analyst based in Kuala Lumpur, you will handle diverse responsibilities including debt management, treasury operations, insurance coordination, and compliance. Your role involves preparing financial summaries, managing intercompany loans, supporting month-end processes, and assisting with statutory accounting disclosures. You will coordinate global insurance renewals and analyse financial aspects of workers’ compensation schemes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve liquidity management and risk strategies. This position offers the opportunity to develop technical skills and make a meaningful impact on the organisation’s financial health.
- Review debt notices and prepare summaries for interest and fee payments with accuracy and timeliness.
- Create borrowing files with interest and fee projections, updating forecasts for informed decisions.
- Manage intercompany loans, including journals, maturity schedules, payments, and receipts.
- Develop treasury projections for intercompany loans in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Prepare journals for interest accruals, USD loan revaluations, and mark-to-market entries.
- Maintain the Letter of Credit Register, ensuring records are accurate and compliant.
- Analyse letter of credit fees and recharges for management reporting.
- Reconcile debt activities, promptly resolving discrepancies.
- Update debt issue costs for amortisation with precise audit-ready records.
- Coordinate free cash flow forecasting by managing templates, regional updates, and queries.

You have proven experience in similar roles, showcasing technical expertise in accounting and managing complex financial transactions, including debt management processes. - 3–5 years’ experience in treasury or insurance within a corporate environment.
- Degree-qualified with strong accounting skills; CA/CPA qualification or pursuit is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail for preparing complex financial documents and reconciliations.
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for accurate data interpretation.
- Strong project management, time management, and organisational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across regions and levels.
- Team player with experience in cooperative and supportive environments.
- Proven problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for process improvement in dynamic settings.
