SSC Team Lead
Our client is in search of a dynamic and hands-on Shared Services Centre (SSC) Manager to lead and oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions within their Shared Services Center. This role is pivotal in driving process efficiency, team performance, and stakeholder satisfaction across the finance operations. * Lead AP and AR teams for efficient transaction processing * Drive standardisation and continuous improvement of P2P and O2C processes * Identify automation opportunities and support system enhancements
What you'll do:
As a Shared Services Centre Manager, your role will be central to driving process efficiency within the finance operations. You will be responsible for leading the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams, ensuring timely transaction processing. Your leadership skills will be crucial in managing operational issues, overseeing invoice processing, supervising billing activities, supporting month-end closing activities, identifying automation opportunities, and leading finance transformation initiatives.
- Lead and manage the AP and AR teams to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs to ensure service delivery targets are met
- Act as an escalation point for operational issues and resolve them with appropriate stakeholders
- Oversee invoice processing, payment runs, vendor reconciliation, and GR/IR clearing
- Supervise billing, collections, and customer account reconciliations
- Support month-end closing activities including accruals and reporting
- Identify automation opportunities and support system enhancements
- Lead or support finance transformation initiatives within the shared services environment
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Shared Services Centre Manager position brings a wealth of experience in finance operations. With a minimum of 8 years' experience in this field, you have spent at least 3 years in a leadership role within a shared services environment. Your strong knowledge of end-to-end AP and AR processes is complemented by your experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Workday. Your excellent communication skills enable you to manage stakeholders effectively while your proven track record showcases your ability to manage teams, drive process improvements and deliver results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in finance operations
- At least 3 years in a leadership role within a shared services environment
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end AP and AR processes
- Proven track record in managing teams, driving process improvements, delivering results
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
