Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable PTP (Procure-to-Pay) Team Lead to oversee end-to-end PTP processes. What you'll do:

As a PTP Team Lead, your primary responsibility will be overseeing end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes. You'll lead a dedicated team, managing vendor relationships while ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement. Your role will involve monitoring cash flow, payment cycles, and vendor accounts while driving process improvements. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders within the organisation to optimise workflows. Your commitment to adhering to internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit requirements will be crucial in this role.

  • Lead and manage the PTP team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Oversee vendor invoice validation, approvals, and dispute resolution to maintain smooth operations.
  • Monitor cash flow, payment cycles, and vendor accounts to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other stakeholders to optimize PTP workflows.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance management for the team.
  • Prepare PTP reports and analysis to support financial decision-making.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this PTP Team Lead position brings a wealth of experience in Procure-to-Pay processes. With a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting under your belt, you've honed your leadership skills through years of experience in Accounts Payable or Shared Services. Your hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle has equipped you with the technical know-how necessary for this role. Your excellent problem-solving abilities coupled with your effective stakeholder management skills make you an ideal fit for this position.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a must
  • ACCA or CIMA qualified would be an added advantage
  • Proven 10 years of experience in PTP, Accounts Payable, or Shared Services.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP is a MUST
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
