What you'll do:
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play an integral role in shaping the financial landscape of our client's GBS team. You will be at the forefront of driving financial discipline and cost management for GBS Functions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading on budgets, ensuring clarity in financial processes, offering insightful business advisory services, and fostering collaboration within your team. With your commercial finance expertise, you will adhere to governance standards to optimise cost efficiency and business outcomes.
- Drive the budgeting process for GBS functions, challenging and scrutinising variances.
- Consolidate and analyse GBS budget forecasts, ensuring consistent reporting and commentaries.
- Provide end-to-end finance business partnering services, including monthly actuals analysis and regular stakeholder meetings.
- Offer strong reasoning and analysis to support business initiatives.
- Design and implement improvements to finance processes.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and Group requirements, adhering to governance standards.
- Build financial and commercial awareness within the GBS Functions community.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Business Partner role brings a wealth of experience from leading a finance department within an MNC. You possess strong strategic thinking abilities coupled with excellent analytical skills. Your proficiency in SAP and BPC or equivalent systems will be crucial in this role, and familiarity with Power BI is a plus. Your ability to work under time pressure, coupled with your strong interpersonal skills, will enable you to thrive in this fast-paced environment. You are known for your influencing skills, offering objective viewpoints supported by robust justification. Your experience in managing tasks independently while fostering teamwork and collaboration will be highly valued.
- Qualified accountant pursuing or holding professional accounting accreditation, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Proven experience in leading a finance department within an MNC, with a strong background in commercial finance.
- Proficiency in SAP and BPC or equivalent experience; familiarity with Power BI is preferred.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under time pressure.
- Demonstrated influencing skills, offering objective viewpoints supported by robust justification.
