What you'll do:
As a Senior Analyst for Accounts Payable, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the financial integrity of the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing vendor invoices, managing travel & expense claims, performing vendor statement reconciliations, supporting month-end closing activities, assisting in audits, driving process improvements, and providing training on policies. Your expertise will contribute significantly towards enhancing efficiency and compliance within the organisation.
- Process and review vendor invoices and employee travel & expense (T&E) claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Investigate and resolve invoice and T&E claim discrepancies, working closely with vendors, procurement, and internal stakeholders.
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations (e.g., VAT, GST) related to invoices and T&E claims.
- Support AP month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance in AP and T&E processes.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on T&E policies and best practices.
What you bring:
As an ideal candidate for the Senior Analyst for Accounts Payable position, you bring along a wealth of experience in accounts payable management within a shared services or multinational environment. Your strong knowledge of invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, T&E claim policies coupled with proficiency in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle sets you apart. - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Invoice Processing, and Travel & Expense (T&E) Management within a Shared Services Center (SSC) or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and T&E claim policies.
- Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
