What you'll do:

As an RTR Senior Analyst, you will be at the forefront of driving financial success within the organisation. You will analyse complex financial data, providing valuable insights that shape strategic decisions. Your ability to develop forecasts and budgets will be crucial in steering the company's financial direction. You'll also have the opportunity to showcase your presentation skills by synthesising information from financial reports for management. Your expertise in ERP systems will be invaluable as you maintain product standard costs and prepare month-end journal entries. Additionally, your role will extend to preparing annual tax filings and assisting in compliance activities.

  • Analyse and interpret complex monthly financial results to identify financial issues and provide insights and recommendations
  • Develop/update quarterly forecasts and budgets in partnership with business leaders
  • Create presentations for management based on findings from financial and trend reports
  • Advise leaders on financial impact of recent/proposed process changes
  • Assess system capabilities and process efficiencies, making recommendations for enhancements and upgrades
  • Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and maintain product standard cost in ERP system
  • Prepare annual tax filings and assist in compliance activities

What you bring:

As an ideal candidate for the RTR Senior Analyst position, you bring a wealth of experience in cost accounting along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Your background working within an international company's subsidiary area equips you with unique insights that are invaluable to our operations. Your proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel, coupled with your experience with ERP systems like JDE, Oracle, or SP, sets you apart. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build strong relationships across all organisational levels. Furthermore, your substantial knowledge of GAAP and SOX ensures that our financial practices are compliant and effective.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • At least 5 years’ of previous related cost accounting experience
  • Experience working in a subsidiary area within an international company
  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and related financial systems; ERP (e.g., JDE, Oracle, SAP) experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Substantial knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
