Our client is in search of a dynamic and experienced OTC Team Lead to join their Global Business Centre. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the end-to-end Order to Cash (OTC) process, ensuring the smooth operation of customer billing, cash application, credit management, and collections activities. What you'll do:

As an Order to Cash (OTC) Team Lead, your role will be pivotal in managing the end-to-end OTC process. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams to streamline processes while adhering to financial standards. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you monitor key metrics that drive decision-making. You will also oversee critical financial periods such as month-end and year-end closings. As a leader, you will foster a supportive environment for your team while setting clear goals. Your role will also involve liaising with key stakeholders across different departments.

  • Lead and manage the OTC process, including credit management, billing, collections, dispute resolution, and cash applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and optimize OTC processes, ensuring adherence to financial and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and analyze key OTC metrics, providing reports and insights to drive decision-making and performance improvements.
  • Implement and enforce credit policies and risk management strategies to maintain a healthy receivables portfolio.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities related to OTC, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead and mentor the OTC team, fostering a collaborative environment, setting clear goals, and developing talent.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and external regulations.
  • Act as a liaison with key stakeholders, including finance, operations, sales, and customers to address issues and implement solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the OTC processes, leveraging technology and best practices.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this OTC Team Lead role will bring a wealth of experience in finance, particularly in OTC processes. You will have proven leadership skills within a global business environment and a strong understanding of ERP systems and OTC tools. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills will be key to your success in this role. The ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required, as you will need to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA etc.) preferred.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in finance with strong background in OTC processes.
  • Speak, read and write in Mandarin is a must
  • Proven experience in leadership role within global business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities work under pressure meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication interpersonal skills ability build relationships stakeholders all levels.
  • Experience in process improvement project management within finance function is an advantage.
