Senior RTR Analyst

Our client is seeking a Senior RTR Analyst to join their dedicated Finance team. What you'll do:

As a Senior RTR Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our client's financial operations. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects of finance including monthly/quarterly closing activities, account reconciliation, internal and external reporting, credit risk evaluation, customer refunds processing, compliance maintenance, system improvements, policy guidance provision, Sarbanes Oxley cycle narratives maintenance, audit preparation and coordination, as well as liaising with external entities for reporting requirements. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth running of the financial department.

  • Prepare, process and review month-end journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Independently handle month-end/annual closing and report submission.
  • Perform detailed analysis of account balances to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Review, evaluate and calculate customers’ credit risk annually.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer refunds, credit notes and commission verification.
  • Identify accounting system deficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide policy guidance and process support to business unit and regional finance teams.
  • Participate in the maintenance of Sarbanes Oxley cycle narratives.
  • Take ownership of the preparation and coordination of the annual internal/external audit process.
  • Liaise with government authorities / Outside service providers in accomplishing statutory and internal reporting requirements.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior RTR Analyst position brings a solid understanding of GAAP and SOX along with strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles. You are able to manage confidential information with discretion and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Your interpersonal skills enable you to build productive relationships both internally and externally. You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and have at least 5 years of related experience. Public accounting experience, CPA certification, and experience working in a large MNC company will be advantageous. Your expertise in MS Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel and related financial systems, will be crucial for this role.

  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
  • Solid knowledge of financial concepts and principles.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams.
  • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with 5 years of previous related experience.
  • Public accounting experience is preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
  • Experience working in a large MNC company is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and related financial systems.
