What you'll do:
As an RTR Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our financial data by ensuring compliance with various accounting policies and guidelines. Your ability to provide accurate financial reporting will directly impact strategic decision-making processes. Collaborating with the Internal Control team will be crucial in performing and assessing controls effectively. You will also have the opportunity to identify process improvements and support transitions of new activities. A significant part of your role will involve managing team performance and ensuring that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently met.
- Ensure the maintenance of general accounts and financial data complies with Group Accounting Policy & Guidelines, IFRS statement, ICF and Accounting Standard Procedures
- Provide valid, accurate, complete and transparent financial reporting including analysis of results
- Work collaboratively with the Internal Control team to ensure all controls are performed, assessed, closed, and remediated timely
- Identify and implement any process improvement including effectiveness of existing policies
- Support on any new activities transition
- Ensure deliverable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met and perform root cause analysis for any KPI failure
- Manage team performance, discipline, and deliverables, provide guidance and support when required
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this RTR Team Lead position brings a wealth of experience in Accounting or Finance along with proven leadership skills. With at least 8 years of RTR experience in the APAC region under your belt, you have developed a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Your familiarity with Oracle Cloud will be highly beneficial in this role. Your proven ability to lead teams coupled with your excellent analytical abilities sets you apart from others.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience/qualification
- Minimum 8 years of RTR experience in APAC region, with at least 2 years in supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Experience of using Oracle Cloud would be a preference
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent analytical abilities
