Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. What you'll do:
As the FP&A Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and continuously improve partnerships with business and cross-function teams by providing efficient and effective guidance on strategic and operational decision making from a financial perspective. You will develop reliable forecasting processes, deliver insightful financial reports, initiate process improvements, and contribute your expertise to various business-related projects. Your ability to interact professionally at all organisational levels will be crucial for success in this role.
- Develop long-term strategic plans, annual budgets, and monthly rolling forecasts
- Deliver timely and high-quality monthly financial reports highlighting business performance and potential risks
- Initiate process improvements and actively participate in corporate projects
- Work closely with multi-teams to track financial performance and take appropriate actions
- Provide business reviews or ad hoc business-related projects as a financial expert
- Maintain strict attention to detail and adhere to all company rules and requirements
What you bring:
The ideal FP&A Manager will bring a wealth of experience in Accounting/Finance including at least 8 years in Audit/Analysis with MNCs, health care / pharmaceutical, FMCG or Manufacturing industry. You should hold a Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field. Certifications such as CPA or ACCA/CMA would be advantageous. Your proven project management skills coupled with your extensive knowledge of OneStream will be key to your success. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively liaise with different functions across the organisation.
- Proven successful project management skills
- Extensive knowledge of OneStream; Experience working within JDE preferred
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, problem-solving, organisational, analytical, critical thinking skills
- Extensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
