hat you'll do:
As an Account Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the accounts receivable department. You will monitor and analyse accounting data, produce financial reports, establish accounting methods, coordinate audits, improve systems, meet financial objectives, ensure compliance with standards, and aid in implementing new policies. Your commitment to accuracy and strong interpersonal skills will be key to your success in this role.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts receivable department
- Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control
- Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Account Receivable Manager position brings proven experience in a similar role. You possess a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, collection regulations, and have hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software. Your data entry skills are exceptional, as is your proficiency in English. A customer service orientation, negotiation skills, high degree of accuracy, attention to detail are all essential for this role.
- Proven 8 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or similar role
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and SAP
- Proficiency in Mandarin speaking
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
