Our client is seeking an experienced FP&A Controller to join their Global Team. This role offers the opportunity to act as a financial business partner, providing accurate rolling forecasts, managing service cross-charge, and supporting day-to-day Controlling operations. The successful candidate will also contribute to the continuous improvement of controlling processes and provide better cost transparency.

What you'll do:
As an FP&A Controller, your role will be pivotal in driving financial operations within the Controlling Team. You will interact regularly with various stakeholders, providing transparency on actual and projected costs. Your expertise in cross-charging topics will be invaluable in supporting enquiries and ensuring accurate execution of charges. Owning key controlling processes, you will perform in-depth analyses and propose actionable recommendations aimed at enhancing cost efficiency and transparency. Your commitment to continuous improvement will see you leading initiatives to refine our controlling processes.
- Interact with counterparts on a regular basis and provide transparency on actual and projected cost/cross-charging development
- Be the subject matter expert on cross-charging topics and support enquiries when they arise
- Work closely with the Controlling team members to ensure that cross-charging information is up-to-date and charging is executed timely and accurately
- Own controlling processes such as rolling forecast, invoice control, cost recognition, cross-charging, month-end closing for areas assigned to you
- Perform in-depth analyses and propose clear, actionable recommendations for cost efficiency and transparency
- Create and lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement of controlling processes
What you bring:
The ideal FP&A Controller brings a wealth of experience in controlling. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Management, you are adept at using SAP for tasks such as cost center reports and internal orders. Your proactive, self-organized working style enables you to prioritize tasks effectively. You possess strong problem-solving skills which allow you to navigate complex situations with ease. Your interpersonal skills are exceptional, enabling effective stakeholder management and communication. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably accounting and/or financial management)
- Several years of experience working in controlling/FP&A
- Ability to work with SAP (cost center reports, internal orders, etc.)
- Proactive, self-organized working style with ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complexities
- Strong interpersonal skills paired with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in English
