OTC Team Lead

Our client is seeking an experienced OTC Team Lead to oversee and manage the Order to Cash processes within their Global Business Services organisation. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the OTC function, driving process improvements, and leading a team to achieve key performance indicators. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of OTC processes, and experience in a shared services environment. * Lead a team of OTC professionals * Oversee end-to-end OTC processes * Drive automation and digitalisation initiatives

What you'll do:

As an OTC Team Lead, your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for leading a team of professionals, setting performance goals, providing regular feedback, conducting performance appraisals, fostering a collaborative environment, overseeing end-to-end OTC processes, ensuring adherence to company policies, monitoring daily operations to meet SLAs, identifying opportunities for process optimisation, implementing SOPs, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues, preparing regular reports on performance metrics and KPIs.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of OTC professionals.
  • Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance appraisals.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Oversee end-to-end OTC processes including order management, billing, collections, and cash application.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and manage daily operations to meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency improvements.
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on OTC performance metrics and KPIs.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the OTC Team Lead role will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. They should have at least 5 years of experience in OTC or related finance roles with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position. They should have a strong understanding of OTC processes and best practices. They should have excellent leadership and people management skills, a proven track record of process improvement and project management, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in SAP.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in OTC or related finance roles.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position.
  • Strong understanding of OTC processes and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Proven track record of process improvement and project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and Korean speaking, reading and writing would be an added advantage
