This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your accounting expertise in a dynamic, multinational environment. You will be responsible for a variety of financial functions that support company operations across various regions, with a focus on Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset, General Accounting and Financial Analysis. What you'll do:

As a General Ledger Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting various accounting operation tasks. Your responsibilities will include recording fixed asset activities into the accounting system, preparing reconciliations, posting journal entries, scheduling balance sheet reconciliations and executing month-end closings. You will also process batches and receipts from customers while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Support one or more accounting operation tasks on Fixed Assets (FA), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR) for various regions via Oracle system.
  • Record the fixed asset acquisition, disposition, transfer & miscellaneous activities into the accounting system in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Prepare reconciliation within timelines to reconcile the balances between FA subledger and GL.
  • Prepare and post journal entries for Bank, Accrual, Prepayment, Salary, Concur account, etc.
  • Schedule monthly Balance sheet reconciliation and upload them into One Stream system.
  • Process batches and receipts when receiving from customer as well as raise debit or credit memo for customer timely and accurately.
  • Execute FA, GL & AR month end closing and year end housekeeping by following the internal control policies.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the General Ledger Analyst role brings a wealth of experience from a shared services environment. With at least 3.5 years of relevant work experience, well-versed in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Possesses advanced oral and written English language skills and has a proven ability to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong analytical thinking and process orientation.

  • Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum 3.5 years of relevant working experience preferably from a Shared Services Environment
  • Advanced oral and written English language capability
  • Advanced systems/process orientation with demonstrated critical, analytical thinking
  • Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Microsoft Excel
