This role is pivotal in providing effective financial support to the Singapore affiliate. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing financial closing, reporting, statutory & tax reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies. What you'll do:

As an Assistant Manager in our Record to Report team, you will play a crucial role in managing our Third Party Partner's service performance, including overseeing SLA/KPIs. You will lead changes in the controllership process to meet evolving business needs, driving process improvements along the way. Your responsibilities will also include managing local and statutory process. You will oversee the entire RTR end-to-end process, ensuring corporate policies are adhered to while maintaining an effective internal control system for financial reporting.

  • Manage Third Party Partner’s service performance including managing SLA/KPIs
  • Lead and implement changes in controllership process to fulfill evolving business needs
  • Identify, own and drive process improvement with TPP and Regional Process Owners
  • Manage local and statutory process changes with Genpact and local service providers
  • Manage the entire RTR end-to-end process
  • Oversee yearly external audit and periodic internal audit
  • Ensure corporate policies are adhered to and maintain an effective internal control system for financial reporting

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Manager, Record to Report role brings a wealth of skills and qualifications. You should possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in a relevant field and be a member of any professional accounting body (ACCA/CA/CPA/MIA/CIMA). With a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience, including at least 4 years working in a Shared Services Centre as RTR & Statutory reporting for SEA countries, you are familiar with ERP systems and Reporting platforms such as SAP, Blackline, HFM and Microsoft Office. Your ability to develop good relations with various levels of personnel and liaise effectively with stakeholders on relevant accounting regulations/policies changes or process change will be crucial. Experience in Process Improvement or Six Sigma would be advantageous.

  • Possession of at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in a relevant field
