A leading international oil and gas business is seeking a high-calibre Account Receivable Specialist in Malaysia. In this job, you will support a large, complex business unit with a regional remit.
About the Account Receivable Specialist Role: In this role, you will be responsible for managing all related matters.
Account for credit collections of outstanding accounts receivable from the existing customer base
Handle collections, cash allocation, support in disputes customer resolutions and Autobank
Manage receivables management, customer invoices and collections according to company guidelines and Internal Control System (ICS) framework
Support AR automation and process improvement projects
To succeed in this role, you must have ability in handling AR operational tasks and a strong understanding of the AR function.
Minimum of two years of work experience in the AR function
Degree/diploma in finance and accounting/commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles is an advantage
Great communication skills and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, self-motivated and strong analytical skills
Proficient in Mandarin speaking is an advantage
