A leading shared service centre is seeking a talented AP Specialist in Kuala Lumpur. In this job, you will handle all AP-related matters.

About the AP Specialist Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all AP-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for AP journal booking, invoice processing, T&E processing, AP closing and performing other AP activities
• Manage company expenses, prepare journal entries and accounting vouchers
• Receive and review vendor invoice, performs invoice matching and VAT invoice verification
• Review payment detail against payment terms for payment voucher approval
• Identify the process issues or risks, propose with solution and escalate to the management, enhance controllership and drive process improvement continually
• Review AP reconciliation, ageing reports and other financial reports to identify errors

To succeed in this role, you must have strong proficiency in AP function, SSC experience is preferred.

Key Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in finance and accounting/commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Great communication skills and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, self-motivated with strong analytical skills
