AR Accountant

A growing shared service centre is seeking a talented AR Accountant in Kuala Lumpur. In this job, you will be responsible for all AR-related matters.

About the AR Accountant Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all AR/OTC-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Account for credit collections of outstanding accounts receivable from the existing customer base
• Handle collections, cash allocation, support in disputes customer resolutions and Autobank
• Manage receivable management, customer invoices and collections according to company guidelines and Internal Control System (ICS) framework
• Support O2C automation and process improvement projects

To succeed in this AR Accountant role, you must have ability in handling O2C operational tasks and a strong understanding of the O2C function.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of work experience in the O2C function
• Degree/diploma in Finance and Accounting/Commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Great communication skills and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, self-motivated and strong analytical skills
