AP Accountant

A leading shared service centre is seeking a talented AP Accountant in Kuala Lumpur. In this job, you will handle all accounts payable operational related matters.

About the AP Accountant Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all PTP-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Account for validation and payment processing of suppliers and intercompany invoices and expense claims
• Ensure all payments are accurately and timely processed within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLAs), adhering to the statutory requirements, Internal Control System (ICS), Company policies and guidelines
• Take charge of the accruing vendor invoices and payment processing
• Support P2P improvement projects

To succeed in this AP Accountant role, you must have the ability in handling PTP operational tasks and a strong understanding of PTP functions.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of work experience in an AP function
• Degree/diploma in finance and accounting/commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Great communication skills and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, self-motivated and strong analytical skills
