Statutory Reporting Manager

A leading shared service centre is seeking a talented Statutory Reporting Manager in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In this job, you will handle all statutory reporting related matters.

About the Statutory Reporting Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all general accounting process related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the accurate, reliable, and timely reporting for internal requirements
• Ensure compliance with required external and internal controls
• Review and approve manual journals at month end with appropriate and complete supporting documentation
• Review monthly balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis
• Prepare month-end reporting package, adhering to corporate deadlines (including SOX compliance reporting)
• Ensure compliance with required external and internal controls

To succeed in this Statutory Reporting Manager role, you must have the ability in handling general accounting process and a strong understanding of GL functions.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of seven to nine years of work experience in the GL function, preferably in a shared service environment
• Degree/diploma in finance and accounting/commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Great communication skills and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, self-motivated with strong analytical skills
