What you'll do:
- Identify and organise management issues within accounting and treasury operations by engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure all perspectives are considered.
- Explore advanced technology solutions that address operational challenges while aligning with strategic business objectives for finance transformation.
- Facilitate business process re-engineering discussions with accounting, treasury operations, headquarters finance, local finance teams, IT departments, and other stakeholders to co-create effective solutions.
- Propose future-state models, develop project approaches and schedules, negotiate with stakeholders, and launch new global projects that drive standardisation and efficiency.
- Oversee comprehensive project management tasks such as monthly reporting to stakeholders on progress, risks, and achievements to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate closely with local finance teams to identify essential operational needs and propose innovative standardised operating models that benefit all regions involved.
- Manage system maintenance support for key financial applications including closing systems, ticketing platforms, ERP solutions; handle user inquiries, role applications, change requests, and proactively improve service levels based on KPIs.
- Track system issues or interface errors in partnership with IT teams to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption to business users.
- Lead people management efforts by inspiring your team through clear objective setting, regular performance reviews with constructive feedback, coaching for skill development, resource allocation management, KPI monitoring, issue resolution guidance, and identifying training needs.
What you bring:
- Qualification of Degree in Accounting/Finance or Management Information Systems is required for this position.
- At least eight years of practical experience in Accounting/Finance or Shared Service Centres (SSC), demonstrating substantial expertise in managing financial systems or leading business process re-engineering projects.
- A minimum of two years’ experience managing teams where you have demonstrated strong people management abilities including coaching and mentoring staff members effectively.
- A proven sense of collaboration across different specialties—especially between business functions and IT—to achieve shared objectives efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written) are essential for facilitating stakeholder engagement across multiple regions.
- Demonstrated ability in project management methodologies as well as change management practices; adept at stakeholder control throughout project lifecycles.
- Deep knowledge of SAP FI modules along with hands-on experience using related financial applications such as Coupa/Ariba (Procurement), Concur (Expense), Cadency/Blackline (Closing), SNOW (System Maintenance).
- Experience utilising Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Google Looker, Tableau or SAP Analytics Cloud for data-driven decision making is highly valued.
- Familiarity with automation technologies including MS Power Automate, UiPath, Google App Script or MS Copilot enhances your suitability for this role.
- Adaptability in fast-changing environments coupled with strong presentation skills for documentation creation and meeting facilitation.
