The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting an ERP rollout project, acting as a liaison between finance teams and IT. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, optimise financial workflows, and facilitate user adoption through change management efforts.
What you'll do:
As a Finance Business Analyst, your role will be pivotal in supporting the rollout of our client's Microsoft Business Central (MSBC) ERP project. For this role, you will:
- Act as a liaison between finance teams and IT to ensure accurate translation of business needs into system configurations.
- Analyse, document, and optimise finance and accounting processes in alignment with MSBC implementation.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps, and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial workflows, across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
- Conduct impact assessments and support change management efforts to facilitate user adoption.
- Develop and execute test cases, validate system outputs, and troubleshoot issues.
- Provide training and user support for finance and accounting functionalities in MSBC.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Business Analyst role brings a wealth of experience in finance and accounting. Other key requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., MSBC, SAP, Oracle) is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
